Coto de Imaz Rioja Gran Reserva 2018
Coto de Imaz Gran Reserva 2018 unfurls with grace and nuance in each sip. Its aromatic spectrum evokes a stroll through an autumnal forest, with hints of damp earth and aged leather, interwoven with the sweetness of toasted coconut and the vibrancy of ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums. On the palate, it reveals an enthralling complexity, with tannins that gently caress and a lingering finish that leaves an impression of concentration and completeness. A red wine of character and maturity that eloquently speaks for itself.
91/100 Deano da Vino - Classy, and even silkier than the 2017, and insane value for a Rioja Gran Reserva
Luddite Saluez Le Saboteur 2017
Descendientes de J. Palacios Pétalos 2021
Descendientes de J. Palacios Pétalos 2021 has a rather dense expression, with dark cherries and hints of lavender and oyster sauce to the slate, crushed blueberries, dark cherries and baked strawberries. Full-bodied and tannic, but silky and powdery. Long and tangy to the end. From organically grown grapes.

Yalumba Cigar Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
Yalumba The Cigar 2018 has a full nose with savoury blackcurrant fruit and on the palate there are layers of plum and cherry fruit and a lengthy savoury textured finish. The palate surprises as it is not the brute the nose suggests. It is a medium bodied wine with deep fruit flavours of dark cherries and blackberries. The tannins are silky smooth and act in harmony with the fruit for a lingering finish.

Post House Missing Virgin 2021
The Post House Missing Virgin 2021 is a South African red blend (Pinotage/Petit Verdot) known for being full-bodied with notes of blueberry, fruitcake, cinnamon, and wild heath, offering rich fruit and soft tannins, named after a stamp error where a virgin figure was omitted, reflecting the winery's historic Post Office location. It's a complex, aromatic, and fruity wine from Stellenbosch, praised for its balance and enjoyable finish, with the 2021 vintage available from various wine retailers.
Circumstance Syrah 2017
Circumstance Syrah 2017 is a delicious Rhone style Syrah from the Waterkloof estate. Circumstance Syrah is a stunning Rhone style wine with hints of black pepper and other spice on the nose, complemented by scents of flowers and plums and Fynbos, the South African equivalent of Garrigues. The palate is dry, with plum and sour cherry. The mouthfeel is velvety and initially has notes of cocoa, but comes to resemble a stony minerality on the long finish. Elegant with great length, a true Vin de Garde. Great with red meats, especially lamb or sirloin steak, flavoured with Southern French herbs (rosemary, thyme) or hearty casseroles.
