Deep, brooding garnet shading to a tawny rim — typical of mature Aglianico. Complex nose of black cherry, dried fig and bramble fruit over leather, sweet tobacco, dried herbs and crushed-stone minerality. Full-bodied with firm, fine-grained tannins, vibrant Aglianico acidity and a long, savoury finish of cherry pip and forest floor. Built for grilled lamb, wild boar ragù, aged Pecorino or simply a winter evening.
